Keys for a Good Life: A celebration of Outstanding Piano Amateurs. This unique concert will feature Les Amateurs Virtuose, an organization based in France, in conjunction with Mount Royal University. Hear performances from top amateur pianists from around the world and hear their stories of how they came to balance their professional careers wtih a passion for music. A must-see (and hear) for students and parents, as well as anyone with a passion for piano.

The Civic offers the first ever North American production of Les Amateurs Virtuoses, a Paris-based organization dedicated to bringing together some of the best international amateur pianists for performances around the world. This concert will include incredible musicians from Japan, the United States, Europe, and Canada. Our friend, Thomas Yu, periodontist and pianist, will play a leading role in this remarkable assemblage of fantastic pianists who happen to have chosen other professions.
